Oh....so much going on!!! I will give you a QUICK run-down. Van had his last baseball game last weekend (YEAH!!) Maybe I will get a day to sit and relax...probably not, but I can dream!! I had my 30th birthday two weeks ago and Miguel and my family suprised me with a little birthday party. All I have to say about that is....my husband is sneaky...I'm gonna have to starting watching him more closely. Van has his Thanksgiving feast on school on Friday. Miguel and I are going to be there...stay tuned for pics...of course!! And lastly, Miguel graduates from police academy on Dec 11th. He is sooooo excited to be close to finishing. It has been very busy and very hard on him. We are sooooo proud of him!! Stay tuned for pics of that, too!

Van got in his first "fight" as school today. Him and other boy were playing in the play-doh station. There are play-doh scissors (scissors without the metal parts)in the station. We aren't exactly sure what happened, but there was some pushing and shoving and Van cut the little boy in the neck. We think that during the pushing, Van had the scissors in his hand and got him in the neck. The cut was about two inches long and as thin as a paper cut. Van was soooooo upset!!! He KNEW he was in big trouble. Usually when I pick him up he comes running to me....not today!!! Needless to say...we had a LONG talk.

Happy Birthday to Van!!! My baby is 4!! When I told him that he said "I'm not a baby!" I told him he will always be my baby. He said "But I'm NOT a baby!" Whatever, my baby is 4!! Van has a great day. He woke up to balloons all over his floor, which he loved! After school, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for dinner. Grandma got him a cake with red icing and speed racer cars on it. Papi got to push his face in the icing and Van thought it was hilarious. The bad part was that the icing was red....and stained his face....he had to go to school the next day with half of a red face. Check out the video!!! After dinner, we went to the Waxahachie homecoming bonfire. Van loved the huge fire. He really loved the trash can band (the drumline plays on the trash cans)!! But the best part of the night was watching Van breakdance in the grass. He had never done that before and I have no idea where he got it from. There were a lot of people watching him, but he kept break dancing. I would have got it on video, but it was too dark and you couldn't see anything, but I took some pictures. On Saturday, we had his party at Pump It Up. He had a great time!! Check out the pics!!

We went to the Green Meadows Petting Farm and Pumpkin Patch. The boys loved it!! Van loved the cow and his favorite was the hay ride and the pigs. Max liked watching but wasn't sure about touching anything!! He did feel the goats and liked that a lot!! He did not like the hay ride. Our driver was on fast forward and I don't think Max liked that too much! At the end, they picked out a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. It was soooo much fun and the weather was beautiful!!

Van is getting better at T-ball. He actually ran to the correct bases today!! He likes it, but I don't think it is enough "action" for him. He asked the other day if he could play soccer instead of baseball. I told him that he could play soccer next season, but he was going to finish this season because his team needs him.

Van's birthday party is just a couple of weeks away. This is the first time that he has actually had a friend call him!! A little boy from school called to tell him that he was coming to his party. It was sooooo funny to listen to time talk on the phone. They talked about the party and jumping on the bounce houses and then they talked about building a dinosaur at school. It was soooo cute!!

Today, Van and I were coloring at the table. We started making a book. After a few minutes, without really reading the book to him (I said the words as I wrote them) he started reading the book and pointing to the words....I didn't even show him that!! We ended up making two books and he can read both!!! He's awesome!!!! Check out the videos.

I received some flowers from the boys yesterday. They are beautiful!! When I called Miguel to tell him thanks for ordering them on behalf of the boys, he told me he didn't send them. So..I called my mom. She said she didn't send them either. So, thinking my husband lied to me...I checked the bank account and the credit card account...nothing!! Who sent these???? They are beautiful!! Thank you to whomever sent them...on behalf of the boys, of course!!!!

Papi picked Van up from school yesterday because he was sick!! Poor baby was throwing up and running a fever. He spent most of the night throwing up and running a high fever. We are going to the doctor today at 12:30. We dropped Max off at daycare today so we can keep him away from the sickness as much as possible. On the way home, Van said that we need to stop at the Sonic. When I asked why, he said that he need to get a Sprite because Aunt Atley said that Sprite and crackers will make you feel better. Needless to say...I stopped. How can you say no to that rationale?? And now...Aunt Atley can never say that she doesn't influence my children....they are watching and listening to everything!!
