Mommy and Papi went on a little vacation to Colorado this weekend. We flew into Denver Airport and drove about an hour to the Indian Hot Springs Resort in Idaho Springs. The "Resort" sounds really fancy, but was actually a very old hot springs resort. It was very nice and clean, but could have used a little updating. It was actually nice to go someplace very casual and laid back!! The town was super cool!! It was pretty much just one row of "downtown" with some sidestreets that had houses on them. It sounds really small, but there were tons of people there. We went white water rafting (super cool!!), ate the best ice cream we have EVER had, Jessica got pulled over by the police for going the wrong way on a one-way street (the WHOLE town was a series of one-way streets that weren't marked very well...anyway, I didn't get a ticket!!), went horse-back riding, toured the Argo Gold Mines (where the Colorado Gold Rush started), ate more of the best ice cream, and lounged in the hot water springs (super HOT water!!). We had a great time. Check out the pics. We took pics of the white water rafting on water-proof cameras so we have to get those developed and then we will put those on...it's like the old days when you actually developed film!!!)
